Meet The Owner

Tina started her career in advertising and public relations. She was the manager of five "Ronald McDonalds" (Yes, THAT Ronald McDonald) and visited many public schools with them across the tri-state area as they performed an Ecology Show for the K-5 students. It was during that time that Tina realized she was happiest and most inspired in a school setting. Working with children was her true calling. She returned to college for a Master of Science in Teaching Degree and taught in the New York City Public School System for several years. She taught first grade, and sixth grade, and was also a reading specialist. After having two children, she and her family moved to New Jersey where she planned to resume teaching in a public school closer to home. Finding childcare proved to be more difficult than she imagined; none of the centers had what she was looking for. So, she decided to open a center for herself that checked all of the boxes that are most important in a Child Care Center; a safe, nurturing environment with a focus on developing a love of learning as the children grow. Thus, AB Seas opened its doors in 2000 and is still proudly open today."
